NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Town of Little River Town Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed adoption of the Town of Little River Comprehensive Plan. The public hearing will be held as part of the Town of Little River Town Board meeting on September 16, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Little River Town Hall, 3627 County A. The Town of Little River Town Board may take action following the public hearing on the proposed adoption of the Town of Little River Comprehensive Plan.

The proposed comprehensive plan contains revised inventory and analysis of the town’s physical setting, demographics, housing, community facilities, transportation facilities, and land uses. With assistance from the Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission, the Town of Little River developed the proposed comprehensive plan that describes how the Town of Little River envisions its development and preservation of land in the town during the next 20 years. The proposed plan includes goals and actions as well as land use strategies depicted on a Future Land Use Map.

The proposed Town of Little River Comprehensive Plan is available for review at the following:

Written comments on the proposed comprehensive plan should be submitted to the Town of Little River at Town Hall or email Amy Peterson, Town Clerk,  clerk@townoflittleriver.wi.gov before September 16, 2026. All written comments will be forwarded to the Town of Little River Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee and Town Board.

Work on Woodview Road is set to begin the week of May 26. The road will be designated local traffic only during construction. Conditions and available routes on this road may change daily. Please find an alternative route so construction crews can work.

A permit is required to work in the Town right of way. The permit form can be requested by calling 920-834-3617.

New Driveway? Permits are required. Permits are free, but must be issued BEFORE driveway is installed. There is a penalty fee if a driveway is installed before permit is issued.
